This is the coresponding written recipe to the first video in my TikTok series called "Saved & Served", where I recreate all of the recipes I've saved on the app over the last four years. All recipes in this series are adapted to be gluten free, as we are a food allergy household.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free orzo

  • 1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 round of Boursin Garlic & Herb Cheese (or similar)

  • 3.5 cups chicken broth

  • garlic powder and dried oregano (measure with your heart)

  • 2 cups spinach

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, optional

  • grated parmesan cheese

  • protein of your choice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425˚ F.

  • Add the Boursin cheese round, orzo, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and chicken broth into your dutch oven or heavy bottomed pot. Stir gently to incorporate orzo and broth to prevent sticking.

  • Bake for 45 minutes, stirring gently every 15 minutes or so.

  • While baking, cook your protein of choice and chop your spinach, if desired.

  • Once complete, stir to incorperate the cheese round into the cooked pasta,

  • Add in your cooked protein and spinach. Stir. Set aisde for 5 minutes to allow the spinach to wilt. Once complete, stir in your heavy cream and parmesan, if desired.

  • Serve and enjoy!

We have made this several times and really enjoy having it on weekends when my husband is home from work. I originally saved this recipe from the TikTok user @jordyn.caulfield, you can find her adaptation here.
